Since I am selling mannequins on ebay, people ask which kind of mannequins are better for them. It doesn’t matter if you are a clothing power seller or a new clothing seller, this guide will give you an idea of WHAT IS BETTER FOR YOUR EBAY BUSINESS.

Handling	Lightweight. Even a child can manipulate it.	Some mannequins can require 2 people to move, dress and assemble.
Care	As it is a plastic form, it is more durable. The color is part of the material and its no painted as in the full body mannequin. You can use water to clean it or in extreme cases you can use paint thinner to remove dirty spots.	Very delicate. The paint or the makeup can be damaged with the manipulation.
Storage	You can store it in a little space, in your closet or any other space. As they are half forms and hollow back, they are stackable.	Either assembled or in the box you need a bigger and safe space to store them.
Shape	Half Forms – Hollow back (You can show only the front of the clothing. Sometimes can be used to show the back of some clothes.	Tri dimensional – You can show all sides of the clothing.

After reading this chart, I can give you my modest opinion on HOW YOU CAN DECIDE WHAT KIND OF MANNEQUIN IS BETTER FOR YOU.

A full body mannequin is a great display for clothing stores but is not necessarily the most useful for major ebay clothing sellers. This is because a full body mannequin can be time-consuming to dress, they are more delicate than other kind of mannequins and many of them can require 2 people to dress, move or assemble, so if you are a casual seller or sell different kind of clothing you will find a little difficulty in assembling, dressing the mannequin, taking the picture, disassembling again for the next outfit, etc.

If you have high price clothing or sell special clothing or have several units of the same clothing, then a full body mannequins can be a good effort to be success.

If you are a full time seller and love to sell clothing no matter how much effort you need, the full body will be a good experience.

In a clothing store the mannequins are assembled and dressed once for some time and of course there’s always help to move and dress the mannequin.

For casual sellers, used clothing sellers or sellers who buy their stock on pallets and other ways, a hanging form mannequin will be more useful. They are less expensive, light and easy to put and take the clothing for pictures.

Be aware of cheap Full Body Mannequins. The quality of the fiberglass (material used for this kind of mannequins) can be resins of low quality and the surface could have been coated with general paint instead special paint which helps to avoid the fade effect when your mannequin is exposed to the sun or to the light (usually mannequins less than $ 100).
